The Brand
Te Yu Tong was founded in March 2001, with our headquarters located in Puchong, Malaysia. We are a professional aged tea brand in Malaysia and also a provider of tea services. Our current product line is the Chakka series, which includes original leaf and triangular tea bags.
Our team of professionals are experts in tea manufacturing, blending, grading, and core technology for precision processing. We have established a complete and high-quality raw material system and set the industry standard for Malaysia's first triangular tea bag industry.
Apart from online sales, we have retail experience stores that offer our customers new ways to enjoy traditional tea. Through the comprehensive layout of our experience stores, we advocate a simple lifestyle and provide our customers with sensory experiences that enable them to taste life.

Te Yu Tong was founded in Taiwan in the year 2000.
The Taiwanese owner acquired a lot of aged tea during the establishment of Te Yu Tong in 2000. From 1930 to 2005, almost all of the aged tea from Machang was in the hands of Te Yu Tong. In 2016, the Taiwanese owner entrusted the tea business to JENIFER TAN. In the same year, the "Te Yu Tong Malaysia Tea Art and Culture Studio" was founded with the concept of "appreciating aged tea and collecting new tea," promoting the value of drinking and collecting tea.
The year 2021 - We meet
Mr. Lau Kok Tong
He highly values the inheritance of Chinese culture, and because the brewing techniques for tea culture are extremely complex, Mr. Lau Kok Tong began to explore and research new ways of brewing tea. In order to promote the concept of "drinking tea simply and freely", Mr. Lau Kok Tong decided to switch the core product from traditional Pu-erh tea to whole leaf triangle tea bags. Whole leaf represents the method of brewing tea bags without crushing the tea leaves, successfully attracting younger generations from cold-brewed tea to hot tea.
This is also the CHAKKA series that young people love. Because of a shared interest with JENIFER, they established Te Yu Tong Sdn Bhd together.
